Report on February 2nd UAC Legislative Committee Meeting

UAC considered a number of bills today at it’s second Legislative Committee meeting of the year. Below is a report on the action of the committee:

UAC took a position to support the following bills:

  • HB 92 – Boating Revisions
  • HB 229 – Constables Amendments
  • HB 238 – Expunged Records Amendments
  • SB 142 – Traffic Management Committee Repeal


  • UAC took a position to oppose the following bills:

  • HB 19 – State Issued Identification Numbers
  • HB 87 – Billboard Revisions
  • HB 94 – Government Competition with Private Enterprise
  • HB 224 – Political Subdivisions – Report of Receipts of Federal Money
  • HB 313 – Local Health Regulation
  • SB 136 – Billboard Amendments


  • UAC also revised its position on SB 18 – Government Records Access and Management Act – Voter Registration Records from support to oppose as currently amended.
