Hi, Kids, it's me, the State of Utah. I'm here to tell you all about counties. In the State of Utah we have 29 counties. A county makes up several towns or cities and provides people with government services that make the place you live safer, cleaner, healthier, friendlier, and a better place to live.

There's lots of stuff to learn about counties. You can learn more about the services counties provide. Or you can learn about the history of Utah's counties. Or you can visit the counties' websites and learn more from them. And, teachers, please visit the curriculum section to assist in teaching about county government.
