Know Your County: A Guide to Services and Information

Counties do things you never think about until you need help. When you grow old, for example and can't really take care of yourself alone, your county will help. If someone has broken the law, counties put them in jail so others don't get hurt. When someone gets lost skiing or hiking, counties help find them. It helps to think of counties as the people who take over anytime help is needed.
