Newly Elected Officials Training

Training for all newly elected officials will be held on Wednesday, November 14th just prior to our Annual Convention at the Dixie Convention Center. The training will cover a number of useful topics including the basics of county government, UAC programs and resources, and lessons learned from veteran elected officials.  Click here for more information.

 UAC Annual Convention Agenda Climbs to New Heights—tabs famed mountaineer as keynote speaker

mountain climbing speakerIn keeping with our 2018 Annual Convention theme of “Meeting the Challenge” UAC is proud to announce that it has booked famed mountaineer Chris Warner as its keynote speaker.
Chris Warner is one of the world’s elite mountaineers, one of only 9 Americans to summit both Everest and K2. He’s led nearly 200 international expeditions and is the founder and CEO of Earth Treks, a company that owns and operates one of America’s largest chains of indoor climbing centers.
He is also a renowned leadership expert who specializes in building high-performance teams. He trains Fortune 100 executives, Super Bowl champions, covert ops teams for the U.S. government and Wharton MBA students.
Chris is the author of “High Altitude Leadership: What the World’s Most Forbidding Peaks Teach Us About Success.”
